Pareidolia or Pseidolithic illusion (from the Greek εἴδωλον èidōlon, "image", with the prefix παρά parà, "near") is the subconscious illusion that tends to lead to known forms objects or profiles (natural or artificial) from the random form.

Did you ever befall fantasize about stay lying in a field and finding images in the clouds? or walking in a forest and "encounter" faces in the trunks of trees? roots, stones, but also objects of daily use and consumption can be animated with fun or frightening faces.

One of the most classic examples of pareidolia that almost everyone knows is the sphinx on Mars. How I wish it to be true, and there is concrete evidence that high extraterrestrial beings have left evidence of their passage.
Many people conditioned by this mental illusion frighten or associate mystical visions to kneel believing they see their beloved iconographic idols, hoping for a message ....
With this deceit I enjoy exploring new sound paths, saying an acoustic Pareidolia, including the meanders of the psyche where born the deceit , since reality is always easier than what our mnemonic filter builds.
Although I think I explore sounds, different themes, now my style moves on alternating tracks between light and darkness, a Roller Coaster where the melody is followed by darker textures to come out in melodies or the other way around. Also in this album there are ethereal moments like "Search of the Sacred" to more material phases like "On More Level" or "Return to the Paganism", mysterious phases like "Hidden Entities" or "Trick in the Clouds".
The concept of the term, especially the auditory one, is expressed in its maximum on "Spiteful Troll" where natural, synthetic sounds, real animals recorded in the field and artefact simulations mix together to create a plot of sounds that confuse the real with the illusion. A track in this style could be associated with the song "Dawn in the Incan Forest", in "Introspective Course" in my first published Album.

Almost all the album is dedicated to mythological entities, from fairies, Trolls, to sacred and pagan icons that we find in inanimate objects, a trip into the illusion of our conditioning.

I thank my daughter Irene Billi for playing the clarinet on the track Return to the Paganism.
